Wild field - an experiment

Today from the curiosity and for the experiment, we put six kinds (3 seeds of each one) of Tepary bean /Paiute Mixed, Joreme White, Cocopah White, Big Fields Brown, Brown Speckled, San Pablo Balleza/ to the ground in the abandoned field area.

Field is in the full sun for the all day, so the conditions are almost like on the desert. The soil is very poor, actually it is only sand.

We made six circles, got rid of weeds at these spots and plant three seeds of one kind of teparies in each circle.

We water them for the first and last time ... and now we will wait and observe what will happen...

Today I took a look at the wild field to check if any tepary bean came out at these hard conditions. And there was a nice surprise! One seed of Paiute Mixed pop out from the ground.
As I noticed during the observation of green house on the rooftop, Paiute Mixed is one of the fastest, easiest and strongest kind of the tepary bean so far.
